Lquan your GCC is so cute! A little bit like mine, but Peanut has pink on her chest. ;)

Thanks LadySaphine. I notice your Peanut has more colorful plumage a while back. These pictures were taken 2 months ago. Lily is still very young; 6 months old. I saw her parents when I pick her up from the breeder. I don't remember which, but one of her parents has beautiful pink upper chest like your Peanut.

Been pondering whether to buy Lightroom or not...Its a great piece of software, but rather expensive (wheras GIMP is free). Atm Im saving that money towards another lens...

You think Lightroom is worth it?

cml,

Before I had Lightroom, I used Darkroom. Darkroom is shipped free with any Epson RX series photo printer. Darkroom is not as popular as Lightroom, but it has all of the key features that Lightroom has. Lightroom is very powerful and yet, easy to use. I have Lightroom and CS6. I rarely ever have to use CS6. I use Lightroom 98% of the time for my work. It is worth it if you make money using it. Both Lightroom and CS6 belong to the company I work for. I have no need for CS6 as I don't like to make bogus photos. Lightroom is useful to make photos appear the way our eyes see the subject. Even the most advance digital camera can't produce exactly as our eyes see it.

I dont make any money from my photos, but might get LR5 anyway. Got a couple of other raw editors that are free atm which work if not as simple as LR...
