Thanks Pajarita! I see your point and I'll keep it in mind, although I still think I'll work on a solution to make those two trees more steady. They aren't very heavy at the bottom and I'm afraid they might fall when the birds try to land on them, if they were just swaying at the top I'd be fine. But I reckon putting them in a container with stones or something might keep them from being toppled over.. ^^'

I use a Christmas tree stand. Myrtle has broken branches because she likes to get at the end and bounce the branch up and down like a carnival ride.

Yes, Xmas trees stands are wonderful for large branches that have smaller branches coming off (and for Xmas trees after the holidays are over)

Nice looking birds, but what is with Quinn's eye? It looks like there is a growth of some sort under the eye towards the front of it.
