Gorgeous bird!

I am afraid you won't be able to tell age or sex by looking at him/her. If you can locate an avian veterinarian (one that treats birds as a specialty and is really knowledgeable about birds), he or she could take a blood sample to test DNA to identify sex, but without knowing the bird's background, you can only guess about age. But since they live a looooonnnnnnggggg time, it may not be that important to know.

Welcome.

welcome! like what was stated before, it is hard to tell if greys are male or female just from the outside, a blood test is the only way to really know, but some say if the eyes are more slanted, or squinty, it is a girl and more rounded it is a boy. My boss has 4 greys and this is consistent within her flock. Also the boys heads look more rounded. So going by just that i would assume you have a boy. No guarantees here though. Also with age, babies have black eyes and as they mature the eyes go white, so looking at yours it is definitely an adult, but could be a young adult(2-8 years) just because i have seen 10-15 y.o. greys who's eyes are really starting to whiten out. :gray:
