thats an awsome idea thanks soo much! oh and pchela dont let them toung you after they have eaten a spicy pepper. I gave skeeter a cayene pepper which he loved then a few minutes after he finished I put him on my shoulder and he toungd my face oh gosh1 it stung like CRAZY!! haha :lol:

yes its only mammals that are affected. birds are unaffected by the spiciness of the hottest peppers out there :)

(i did research before giving Jango a bell pepper)

if anyone cares. i just took the remaining bell pepper out of the cage this morning because it fell off the spear onto the floor of the cage, here is the remainder of it if it didn't fall off the other side would be eaten too, for some reason Jango doesn't eat anything that falls to the bottom of his cage, which is a good thing i guess :)

thats a really good idea!! how long do you think you could leave it in the cage before it goes bad? normally veggies dont stay in that long.... BTW we call the paprika over here :D

i used one of those stainless steel spears/kebabs that you can buy in ethier the bird or rabbit section of most chain pet storees

i got an early night because i had work and he was still munching away at it when i went to sleep so i decided to leave it. hes never touched any food thats dropped to the bottom of the cage so i wasn't to worried
