Congrats! He's adorable. Do they keep the bright orange belly after they mature?

thanks he is adorable, he is 10 weeks old so i cant have him yet until he is fully feeding by himself

as for the orange, i assume they do keep the bright orange chest, but this is my 1st bird, so im hoping some one can shed some light on the subject, i never seen his parents, xx

Congrats, Louis is adorable.

Has Louis been DNA sexed?..just based on the pictures, how round it's head looks and how low the "V" on the belly goes, I wouldn't be surprised if Louis ended up being a girl..not that those are clear cut ways to indicate if a Senegal is a male or female, but I've been pretty good about guessing just by looking. Could be wrong though, as a DNA test is the only way to know for sure, short of having a female lay an egg :)
