[Red Moppet]

Such beautiful photos of beautiful birds! They have such vibrant plumage. : ) Even the one bird (I don't know his/her name or what type of bird it is) that is grey... when I look closely at it there are subtle and lovely shades of oranges & ambers and it looks like turquoise in there too!

I hope Natacha doesn't mind me answering for her. The bird you're referring to Red Moppet would be Pixel. Pixel is a female Red Belly. My Lucy is Pixel's and Joey's (her male Red Belly) sibling. Female RB's are beautiful in a subtle way.

I remember when we bought Lucy, she was 11 months old and had been at the store since 3 months old. The guy at the store said lots of people inquired about her, but she wasn't colorful enough. As it turns out, she has the most colorful personality out of all of our birds.
