Pirate Parrot

I had my 21st on the weekend, it was a pirate theme. Just thought I'd share a photo of Rory being my Pirate Parrot. It was his first time wearing his harness for an extended period of time, and first time outside in it Couldn't be prouder of the little man, he was quite happy to sit there chewing on my collar(despite the beads I sewed onto his harness for him to chew) and happily went to my friend for 30 minutes or so. Managed to jump on a lady who is scared of birds and put up with his shreeking at him until he just back to my friend and hid under her hair for a little while




Pink may not quite be his colour.

Happy Birthday! Great costume! This made me smile, Rory looks adorable.

He's the best little man, starting to talk a bit, he says 'Hello Rory', makes kissing noises, and says 'shhhhhhhhhhhhhh' in this cute little voice. Really cute cause he usually does it after he's been really loud hehe. Still can't master a wolf whistle tho

I think it would be fun to dress up as a pirate one day and walk around town with Einstein on my shoulder. Gotta keep working with that harness...

We definitely still need to work on his harness too, and start some harness training with Tika too, Rory will only have his on in the shower, he's happy to be in it, but he's scared of it if you approach him with it out of the shower. Think he might need a colour scheme change too...
