Some of those names made me laugh out loud. :) It's always refreshing to find out you're not alone in your goofiness!

Dude,

You own parrots. How can you possibly feel alone? You have how many thousands (millions?) of people all in on the same inside joke as you are. . . although usually we humans are the punchline to that inside joke.

i call marty my baby bird more then his own name because the day i took him home in his carrier he started making this sound that sounded like a baby bird and i always say it in a high pitch voice when i first come home and he answers back with his like high pitch squeak idk it just kinda stuck, and he really is my little baby bird ;)
A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song. <3

I don't know why other than he is green. When Rambo, my DYH Amazon, follows me around the house I call him Pickle Boy.

Myrtle, my BF Amazon, doesn't have a nickname yet.

Iggy and Ollie are pretty short names to have nicknames, but I call them 'babies', 'my birdies', 'my pretty birds', 'my boys', 'darlin's', and 'sweethearts' or 'sweeties'.

Same thing with my dog, but he has an infinite amount of nicknames that he accumulated over the past nine years we've had him.

I also call Cheney Bird "chicklet" and "lovebug".

My male, Stormy, does that too! 'Til I yell at him, then he looks at me like ,"What?"

I guess I just call both of them "Bubs" when referring to the two of them together, as in "You bubs ready for sleep?" Sometimes I'll call them Stormy-bird or Sunny-bird also.
