New cage and setup:)

Postby idlepirate » Sat Apr 16, 2011 12:09 pm

Finally got around to upload a few snaps:) he loves his new home although hes not quite sure how to sleep in it yet or where to perch, hes taken to the cage door but im amazed at how much less mess there is with this set up! the cage just stays clean its great, just changing the newspaper and wiping as I go. Really was the best choice, I don't feel bad to leave him locked inside it anymore when I go out :)
Thanks again to everyone that advised me to this choice

heres a few setting it up, then ill add some with lorenzo on it completed:)

He is so beautiful.

The best part of upgrading cages, is all the new stuff you need to buy to fill up the cage.

Thank you :D :D

hehehe I know, I love the shopping part, considering hes not really interested in much besides the babble ball and the nuts&bolts toy (which is the stupidestly put together toy for a parrot ive seen lately as it would be so brilliant) I still cant stop buying more hehe. Next is a round rope swing for inside the cage.

All three of my birds LOVE the round rope swing, and I got it so cheap too! It was less than $10 if I remember correctly. Best swings I've ever gotten for them.

And the cage looks great!

Excellent, i wanted one for awhile but never had the space, thought with the bunji and his other fluffy swing thing he had enough for now. but for this cage its perfect, in the meantime have his other swing thing (too many swings hey...lol) in there but hes a bit too big- or it's too small, for him to enjoy properly. I have my eye on one on ebay :D seems to be very affortable. or what about those that have like 3 looped together.one of each maybe

he looks very content on there! blue throated conures definitely have to be one of the prettiest birds I've seen, especially lorenzo
and I have to agree, those round swings rock

Looks great!

We have two birds who vote "no" for round rope swings... maybe we should start some sort of exchange...

Seriously? I'm surprised. Both Kili and Truman are obsessed with those. Truman even more so. He had a pretty big boing in his cage for the last few months and spent most of his time on it.
