FIgured it out!

Postby Chris&Akilah » Mon Apr 18, 2011 8:29 pm

Ah so it just dawned on me...
On recent occasions, Akilah has made this awful dischordant...noise, is best I can describe it. I was perusing the forum, thinking of parrots and their ways, and as I leaned back in my chair it hit me. He is imitating the squeak of my chair when I lean back, but increasing the volume and duration  . Time to oil (chair not the bird).

This has me worried that my bird will start imitating the occasional squeak of my chair. As it is, he's doing his crazy mating call that's making me wish I were deaf.

African greys figure out what noise absolutely makes you bonkers and THAT's what they're determined to mimic

Gotta love birds. . .

Scotty has confined himself to the noise of something being dropped... now it is hard to tell if he's really dropped something or not!

lol now that would be annoying. I hope Akila doesn't pick that one up! He does love to drop things and hear the clatter it makes.
