Cocoa visits oil palm plantation.

Postby Erithacus » Sat Apr 23, 2011 5:45 pm

We are now at my mom in law's house which is located approx 180km away. This is an oil palm plantation opposite of my MIL's house.
We always come here to pick up some palm nuts whenever we are here. Cocoa got spooked by the bulldozer at work. She fled in panic when I went near to collect those nuts. She thought it was some kind of a villain transformer. I had to keep a distance away from the "transformer".

Cocoa gets to see so much, what a great life. The one thing I wonder about though, especially sinc you live in a more tropical area, are mosquitos and mosquito-borne diseases? Do bugs not bother Cocoa? Here in Ontario we have West Nile Virus, which is transmitted by mosquitos and can kill birds.

I have not heard of mosquito-borne diseases killing birds, but they do kill humans.
