I finally got it on Cheney Bird, and it is in a really weird spot. As soon as I have some extra money, I'll probably buy the Aviator. I ended up getting it tight enough to actually feel okay about taking him out in it.. and he was just not a happy camper. He threw himself in my hand and refused to perch anywhere. After about ten minutes, he finally perched on my shoulder and let people ooh and ahh over him before running into my hair to hide.

GlassOnion, I'm jealous that Apple is so calm on the harness! She looks so relaxed enjoying the sun.

Oops, I meant to say that I gave up on having the dee-ring at the back, it only works for him on the front, unfortunately he really likes holding onto the dee-ring and tries to walk and falls over  He's a special little man

Must be a GCC thing. Cheney Bird put his foot through the D Ring and refused to walk or perch on my finger. Instead, he flopped over in my hand like it was the worst thing I'd ever done to him. I made sure it wasn't too tight or hurting him, but he just preferred it that way!

Rory did the same thing, and sometimes he'll forget how to perch with it on, and just slowly drop off the back of the perch  Drama queen. I just growl at him and he stands up properly.

GlassOnion wrote:That sounds so cute! Does Chico put up a fight when you approach him with the harness?

She is acting exactly like Vicki's wrote: like I putted snake around her; snake, that she has to fight with ;)
The funny fact, the moment we're outside and Chico realize that, she stop fighting and enjoy, like she completely forgot about harness. What I started to do is getting everything/body ready and I put harness on Chico in the last moment.
When we have been in forest, she was whistling back to another birds, she doesn't do it at home to budgies, only to us-humans.
It is worth to 2 minute hearing her wee, wee, wee, wee when I put harness and later enjoy long walk with her and seeing her really appreciate it!
