Brought Home 6yo CAG

Postby BudgieSansWings » Sun May 22, 2011 6:30 pm

I just brought home Maya, a 6yo CAG. She's settling in and getting used to her new home. Already looks like her favorite word is 'no'.

She settled in nicely last night... 'Till her nail(which had aparently been cut too short at the shop) started bleeding and wouldn't stop. So day one I had to take her to the emergency vet who could only get it to stop by cauterizing it. But she was unfazed by it and happy to share an apple with me for breakfast this morning.

thats good shes fine now :) i was surprised at how small african greys actually are. i have seen them in person before but not really spent enough time in person with one to get a feel of them. and i found them to be so tiny! i always imagined them to be bigger...

Congratulations of being owned by Maya!

Certainly does sound like she doesn't know her limits, begin she enjoys saying "No" :) It does sound like she's settling in nicely, however.

Greys rock :)
