WHAT??? did you say???

Postby imaplayinfool » Tue May 24, 2011 1:17 pm

I am astounded by the ability and desire that parrots have to mimic us. I find myself craning my head to listen to them practice new words and sounds. They learn best from each other although anything you may find slightly annoying will sure to be their favorite "new" sound.
I have started to try and catalog some of the audio and am hoping to have a finished product soon....if they will stop editing it LOL.
Anyone interested in a copy of the file can e-mail me at blessedbybirds@gmail.com or Richard at captrwest@gmail.com

:amazon: Rambo (20 years old) came to me with a large vocabulary and has increased it ever since. We can hold conversation. He asks questions and wants answers. I can ask him questions. If he is in the mood he will answer me.

:amazon2: Myrtle (1 year old) came to me with no words but hello. Like a baby she copies what she heard. Now just like a 2 year old kid she is starting to understand those words and trying to put them in sentences.

My :greycockatiel: Shadow has a small vocabulary but knows what he is saying and understands me.
