How to wash a bird

Postby Ticoisagoodbird » Fri Jun 10, 2011 8:53 pm

Squirt them with water, of course! Took these tonight, I love the way she postures when the squirting starts (no rude comments please lol) I've never taken her into the shower with me, mainly b/c I like baths myself. Just sharing.

Great pictures! I love how enthusiastic Amazons get when they're in water!

She is gorgeous..
Our Sulphur Crested Cockatoo doesn't like the bottle, hates the shower, but loves the rain.
unfortunately she will only go in the rain with me or the Missus and most times it's bloody cold, but anything for Lulu.

Our amazon Paddy goes loopey when he sees the water squirter come out--he loves it! Our african grey hates it...yet he will try and climb into his water bowl and have a bath!
Funny how they are so different! :gray:
