see the article at the link below. Your baby (& you) just need to go thru the learning process, which can take a while.

I wish Aaron liked to bath in a dish (he'll only allow misting). He'd look so cute rolling around & tossing water onto himself! Oh well, maybe he'll change his mind one of these days & stop w/the "what am I supposed to do now" look when I put him in the dish. :D

I ordered a shower perch from Drs Foster & Smith. It has made life a lot simpler.

I set the shower head so that I get most of it and just the edge of the spray goes over the perch. This way they can step in and out of the spray when they want to. I just alternate :amazon: Rambo and :amazon2: Myrtle. Rambo does everything but sing in the shower. Myrtle just lets it spray on her back after she drinks as much as she could without drowning.

I have a bath for the tiels that I attach inside the cage (it is really a ferret litter box). Those who don't bathe get sprayed.

What happened?

I decided to mist my tiel today since it was good weather over here and he did what he normally did (run around in his cage and try and escape from the water) but when I started to spray above him and let the water land on him, he LOVED it. He put his head down and opened his wings and stuff so I could spray him there. He didn't want me to stop! I don't know what made him enjoy it today but it sure was awesome!

Thanks for your advice guys!

Yep, it's a great feeling alright.

It's surprising how they pick something up so quickly
