Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share a picture of my 12 week old male Blue crowned conure that I brought home yesterday. His name is Chico and he seems to be adjusting very well. He is very affectionate and is attempting to say Hello (the breeder told me that he has been doing this for about 3 weeks now), if I say hello to him he repeats. He loves to be scratched and preened and I did play around with his wings and it didn't seem to bother him, which is a good thing. I think he is beautifully colored, although I don't know much about bcc's. I am so looking forward to starting target training and working with him - I thought I would give him a few days to settle in. He does know step up already! Thanks for looking. I will try to have someone take a picture of me and Chico and change my avatar. Just as the subject says "New beginning" - Chico is my new beginning and I am so very happy.

Thank you! Yes he is .. he is very good at "step up". I had a sun conure for 5 1/2 yrs. and I love them for their cuddles, and antics.

Chico is a honey. So glad you found each other. Go be happy with your new little buddy and remember all the good times you had with your last one.
