Léa's home!

Postby Natacha » Sun Aug 28, 2011 10:18 am

I went to get Léa yesterday.

She's been adapting really well to her new surroundings. I currently have her in a temporary cage in my bedroom, for quarantine/getting her used to us purposes.

She LOVES foot toys made of strung up beads - she's destroyed quite a few since her arrival!

I posted more about our first day on my blog.
First day with Léa

Here are a few pictures from yesterday.

She also tried taking a bath in her cage..

she looks so happy. A Cape would be my dream bird if ever I was to get another. Never will. But good to dream and live vicariously through others. Congratulations.

One word "wow!" Congrats on finally coming home Lea. You have an amazing life ahead. Your mum has a really cool birdy area which you probably havent seen since you are in quarantine.
PS, tell mum to update her signature cos there's a new birdy in the flock LOL
