I try to give my birds enough to play with and enough interaction that they don't chew on stuff. But then again, my boys are pretty small. My wife is interested in a green wing macaw and I am sure that I will have destruction stories at that point :o

Haha :) My homework is usually riddled with holes and missing the corners from where my green cheek has attacked it. Lucky for me, most of my techers know Calypso (my school has Blessing of the Animals chapel every month starring Calypso) so they don't mind!

Logan has never destroyed anything but his toys, and that can sometimes take months. Conrad, on the other hand, regularly destroys paper in all forms: (sheets, books, notebooks, receipts, etc). He loves to chew off the rubber padding on my pens. The thing he destroyed that probably pissed me off the most was the rubber on my computer mouse wheel. He tore it off in chucks when I left a friend to look after him for the weekend. He's also taken some big gashes out of the threshold above my bathroom door. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that once I leave this apartment. :(

But I can't seem to stop loving him.

When :amazon: Rambo got in the bathroom and started pealing wall paper that was bad enough. We tried to keep the door shut. I ws going to change wall paper anyway. Then he chewed a hole in the wall behind te toilet around the plumbing. That will take some work.

Haha! That is the best (and probably most accurate) description of a bird I've heard in a long time!

We love them, but let's face it; they are destruction incarnate.
