Dante's a Gamer

Last night I was playing Warhammer online with Dante on his stand next to me where he could see both me and the screen. I was just grinding through a bunch of low-level quests (I'm playing the "forever free trial" of Warhammer, 'cuz I'm a cheap-@$$ SOB heheh).

Dante seemed very interested in what was happening on the screen and then started letting loose with his "evil laugh" every time I killed someone in the game. It was funny and creepy at the same time. I may have to get him his own account!

Hahaha! That's too funny! I don't have a bird now, and the only thing about computers that interests my cat when he's on my lap is the cursor moving rapidly around the screen... I love that your fid has an evil laugh!

OMG thats so weird!! My cockatiel loves it when I play my Xbox. I play Halo: Reach and whenever it says something like 'Killing Spree' or 'Double Kill' or when I shoot someone with a sniper he gets so happy and starts to chirp I find it so cute.

I had the boys downstairs with me the other day while I was playing Skyrim on the Xbox. As with Warhammer, Dante started laughing whenever I killed something. He even laughed once when *I* died. I had to explain to him that "We don't laugh when Daddy dies." I'm not sure he got that.

It is so weird that he laughs at this particular kind of event. There are all kinds of other things that happen on the screen, like various spell effects and such, that he doesn't respond to. It's only when something DIES that he responds, and then it is his "evil laugh". It really makes me wonder about the psychology of these brilliant animals!
