if your seriously worried about mixing your bird up with someone elses, teach it something really silly that noone else will teach their bird todo, no matter how small a thing
HAHA this was probably silly of me but I was quite scared taking Dusty to the avian vet for the first time..what if they found something wrong and he had to stay over night, how would I tell him apart the next morning if there were other greys! haha So before I took him I made sure to write down his band number any strange things that might make him unique.. like not all his toe nails are black, a couple are "see-through" so I wrote down which ones on which toes. And I he has a couple of odd red feathers that are not on his tail, so i studied the pattern, haha And its so cute but if I look real close you can find a tiny red feather right on the top of his head! lol

My budgies are two different colours, but I have no doubt I'd be able to tell them apart if they were the same colour. Ollie is fairly slender, and always sits up straight, like a little feathered gentleman. Iggy, on the other hand, is kinda fluffy looking, and slouches like a teenager. The difference in their mannerisms is really amusing.
He-he.. my birdie stands out from the rest and I am pretty sure I could spot him between a bunch of other Senegal because of the yellow spots on his head and wings… I always knew my baby was special.
