A grand house for my cockatiels

Postby leoyys » Sat Jan 14, 2012 4:52 am

There are 3 girls and 2 boys living in this grand house.
They have plenty of room to rest so that they don't have to argue with each other.
They are happy. :greycockatiel:

I'm sorry, but that cage is way too small for that many birds! Birds aren't helicopters, they don't fly up and down... That thing is too skinny and tall. You need a cage with a bigger footprint. My budgie lives in a cage that's twice as wide as your cage and she loves it!! Width is always more Important than height!

I suggest you look at this cage?

GlassOnion is right. I've also found that birds prefer horizonal space instead of vertical space. Plus, if your cage is wider than it is tall, the birds aren't above each other and it is less likely that they'll get pooped on.

So far all the birds are happy and the branches are clean from poos... we're happy with the tall mansion.

It's an interesting idea to put the cages together, makes more room if you can't get your hands on a wider one immediately. Can I say it reminds me of vertical fishtanks though? :)
