The second video, spoon dropping, was pretty funny. I could just see your bird thinking "D'oh!" Every time he dropped it.

Yes haha he is just obsessed with that spoon.. Did you also see him with his spoon part 2? ;) He's just lying on his back chewing on his precious spoon.. That was the first time but now he does it constantly

I love the third video, it's so adorable how he just plops over onto his back so he can enjoy that spoon!
How long have you had them?
They seem very happy and comfortable

We bought Phoenix in March last year when he was already a year old and we got Phantom in June last year when he was 3 months. He hatched on March 31 so its almost his birthday!

If you like the vid where he is rolling over, you probably like this one aswell:

You're right, I do like that one as well.
I just think it's so darling the way he lays on his back for so long because he's just so preoccupied with his spoon!
Where did you get those spoons anyway? Seems like they're a real winner with your little guys.
And did you train him to lay on his back or does he just do it?

They're just plastic todler spoons you can probably buy anywhere. I bought them for my little niece but I never got to use them so two weeks ago I found them in the kitchen drawer and gave them to my birds and they both love them. It was a package with 3 spoons and all 3 are colored differently but Phoenix has a favorite, the red with orange spoon ;)
They both allow me to lay them on their backs but they dont like it very much when I do it, so I didnt train them or anything, they just do it theirselfs :) I think to me thats sort of a compliment because laying on your back on the floor is probably on of the most vunerable positions for a bird. To me that shows that they are very happy, comfortable and relaxed in the presence of me and their infiroment.
