It's 10am here :D

He's OK. He is very energetic today and he didn't feel like doing any training today. But yesterday evening we did quite a bit so I guess it's OK to have a small break :D

Yesterday I got him as far as letting me put my finger on his toes whilst target training. Still didn't manage to get him to step up though. But I seem to be on the right track! Fingers crossed!

How's Joe ?

Sounds like good progress! Joe's doing great but still can't seem to catch her on video in time when she's talking lol. I may just get a cam later and record her all day lmao. I'm wondering how kismet and brf are doing.

lol probably so. I do spend some time training Joe but for the most part she just gets talked to, petted, and socialized. My hubby thinks I spoil her lol. When I do try some training, it's normally when the kids are sleeping or busy. My daughter helps with target training joe but my son just wants to get her fat lol. As far as sleep goes, I'll get it eventually... maybe not much but eh lol.

Well... now I'm having a bit of a problem with step up when it comes to Joe. Instead of simply stepping onto my hand like she used to she puts one foot on my finger, bobs her head, turns around and makes clicking noises. She does this everytime I say step up now. Not sure if she is just being stubborn or if she is perhaps hormonal?

Ok nevermind on the clicking noises, it's a bit different.. it sounds kind of like ... squeaking? chittering? Anyway she still steps up after doing what i just described so like i said, not sure if she is being stubborn or silly, or hormonal. Any advice and input on this would be greatly appreciated. Oh and she doesn't take the treat when i try to reward her for stepping up. Instead she will touch it with her beak or she grabs it and drops it on the ground.
