My new Senegal Basil

Postby basilbird2012 » Mon Apr 23, 2012 9:21 pm

I picked up my new Senegal this weekend. It was Sunday to be specific.. he already has learned to flap his wings when I ask him to, he is targeting already. He also let me put the harness on him today.. He is the tamest bird I have EVER seen.. the vet thought the same thing today. She fell in love, as did I. I will be posting videos as things progress.

Enjoy it while it lasts. They grow up quickly and morph into Gremlins.

Thanks! And I always loved the gremlin with the white mohawk. :-) Since he has been home he has been awesome. Tonight I had a friend over and for the first time he flew off the cage onto the couch to be apart of the conversation. He blew my mind today on showing me his intelligence by learning so quickly.. He is amazing! If you decide to get another bird please check out the breeder I used. They raise such perfect parrots. They over shot my expectations thru this whole experience with them. Cooocooo's Nest in New Hamshire! On a second note I couldn't find what happened to Truman. I saw posts hoping he is ok. I also hope he is ok and heals quickly! :-(
