On the other hand Harlie my cockatiel is as good as gold really but we are still working on taming her, she was a rescue and is taking forever to learn to trust, in that respect, she too is highly demanding as she panics over the slightest little thing thats different and we frequently have to get up in the night to calm her down even with a night light on.
Neither bird talks, well Ollie says the odd 'hello' and 'boogie' occasionally he seems to be muttering things under his breath but I can never make out what he is actually saying. Harlie has started to try to imitate the phone when it rings, very very badly at the moment but it's so cute. Harlie is female, she suprised me with eggs after 5 years of thinking of her as male. Ollie was sexed and is male.

"Hey, Good Lookin',
Whatcha' got cookin'?
How about cookin',
Somethin' up with me?"
He has trouble with a beginning S, so sometimes it ends with, "How about cookin',, me?"
The rose breast quickly earned the name, Chewbaca, because she CHEWS everything. Yesterday we lost the buttons off another portable phone that was left in reach. She doesn't talk, so she doesn't come off as very smart - more the clown. We've threatened to take her back many times, but my wife has this silly emotion of loyalty. Mebbe that's why we been married so long..
