i came home twice and found Romeo ( my african grey) walking around on top of his cage. i'm thinking "he's so clever he figured out the lock", i double checked it just now and the latch is not catching! oh well i still think he's clever. :gray:

LOL You have to stay on your toes with those really smart ones.

My very first cockatiel had been rehomed many times before I got her. I never found out how old she was or how many homes she was in before me. She would open the cage door and hold it up so her mate, Bubba, could get out. Of course he did not hold the door for her.

I would come home and find my kitten, Fancy, facing the corner with the other animals behind her.
Fancy was a bird protector since she was a kitten. When I looked in the corner there would be Bubba waiting for me to come home and put him back. He was lucky to have Fancy.

Amy was a multi homed cockatiel. She looked so lonely. I bought her a male and named him Romeo. After a week I took him back and told the man that he was no romeo. The man exchanged the bird and told me the new one was no romeo but he was a good Bubba. Yes - Bubba was a good ole boy who did everything right. He would sing and Amy would dance to his music. It was so funny.
