Well I suppose he is, but since he is the only conure I have ever had I have nothing to compare it to. I think the parakeet is smaller but the boss in a way. Sorta reminds me of how my small dogs ruled the larger ones.
I was just really happy they bonded and accepted each other. I like that they can preen each other and keep each other company when I am away.
