Ollies first trip and introducing Harlie

I did just write loads but Ollie just pressed a button on my keyboard and I've lost the lot.

We decided last minute to visit my friend as she has two holiday chalets last monday. It was a bit cramped as she was renting out her other chalet to more of her friends so we had four of us + a small zoo in one chalet with another couple and their excitable 7 year old in the other but they were in our chalet alot of the time.
I think Ollie enjoyed the whole trip but was quite glad to get back home the next evening. Ollie handled the long journey very well (longest he has been in the car) and even all the new people, animals and excitable 7 year old didn't faze him. He spent a bit of time saying hello to everyone and even stayed still long enough for the child to scratch him.
Unfortunately Harlie couldn't come because she still is nowhere near ready and it would freak her out too much.

Very cute! Are green cheeks on the smaller size of the conure species? I wonder because I have a 4 month conure [I dont know what kind it is ].Are they comparible in size to caiques?

Green cheeks are probably around half the size of a caique I think. Thats my best guess as I've never seen them side by side and it's been a while since i've even seen a caique. My green cheek is definitely smaller than my cockatiel if that helps? Do you have a picture of your conure? I'm not much good with species but someone on here may be able to identify him for you.
