my lovely african grey is soooo jealous of my boyfriend

my african grey is getting worse with his behaviour physically and mentally, ive been with my boyfriend for 9 years part time so he know's him well but my baby is getting worse every time my fella is in the kitchen where my parrot lives, as soon as my fella leaves the room sam starts whistling dancing talking and is so much happier

its causing probs because obviously im very protective with my african more so than my fella so if i had to choose i think u know what i''d choose

My grey at first loved my husband and not me. I was the one who had to do all the caring for him so it was hard.I learned that I had to respect what are realtionship was and stay out of his way.Once I started doing this things got better and progressed.Maybe yours will too

have you tried getting the 2 together away from the kitchen? birds can become very protective of anything they think belongs to them like their favorite person(you),cages, toys or rooms in the house.
