Baby Whining?

When I first began visiting my SC2, Pan, I often caught him at feeding time or interacting with the women who hand fed him. He would always open his mouth (and leave it open) and make this tiny little squeaking noises. I'll have to post a video.

He stopped doing when he came home, but recently has begun doing it to me during our trick sessions! It doesn't really interfere with the training / tricks, but he absolutely loves Zupreem Pellets (and hates seed ) and whines to his heart's content. I don't really mind but wonder if anyone else has had this experience?

How old is he now? Some birds do revert back to begging behaviours for a period of time, the younger the bird the more common it is but sometimes you get adults who do it occasionally as the behaviour has been encouraged somehow.

He's still very young, so I'm assuming this is why.
