This is Precious she is a 5 month old Sun Conure. She broke her leg when she was 3 months old on a toy. The toy was suspended in her cage on a teardrop connector that comes with the toys. She got her foot trapped in it and spiral fractured her leg. After six weeks of cast and cone she was as good as new.

Hello, I am Linda and I am new to this forum, thought I would introduce myself and a few of my babies.
This is Precious she is a 5 month old Sun Conure. She broke her leg when she was 3 months old on a toy. The toy was suspended in her cage on a teardrop connector that comes with the toys. Aw the poor thing! So scary. Hearing about toy accidents that result in death or injury really frighten me... I'm glad she's doing better! Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome. My girl is doing great! She is grumpy cause she is going through her first molt, but remains a constant joy.
Yes Janet, I have more birds. I have three breeding pairs of birds, two green cheek pairs and a pair of blue Indian Ringnecks. I currently have two turquoise yellow sided GC babies I am hand feeding and there are eggs in the ringneck's nest and in the pineapple & yellowsided pairs nest.
