Aloha to all of you fine people!

My name is Seth and after a year of research, careful thought and finding any possible real life interactions with the species I've been interested in, I am finally making the plunge into becoming a companion to my own feathery kid.

I'll be picking up my Red Sided Male Eclectus at the end of this month - very excited and looking forward to all the myriad of experiences this will bring. Will have his cage setup tomorrow and then it's off for some toy shopping >.>

Looking forward to gleaning helpful information and participating on the forums!

Welcome to the forums! congrats on your Eclectus. Make sure you post pics when he gets home! :D
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.
