Newbie!!

Hello fellow parrot lovers! I've been wanting to join this forum for a while, and I finally got the chance to do it! My name is Ashley Abraham and I am from the great state of Michigan. I have a 6 year old quaker parrot (blue) named sweetie, and I just adopted a 5 week old senegal last weekend (March 2nd!) I am still waiting on the DNA results on the little guy but my gut is telling me that it is a male! I am so excited to be a new "parent" again, and I'm really hoping my quaker will welcome the baby into our home!

I have worked at an all parrot pet store for 4 years now, and I wouldn't trade my job for anything! I love working with birds and being around them all the time is definitely the source of my happiness. I have waited almost 2 years for my baby senegal, and out breeder finally had two available this spring and I claimed mine the second we got them! We hand feed all of our babies and we get them when they are very young from a local breeder. We go through an extensive process with all of our babies and their adopted family and we are known for our babies! I decided to join this forum to learn some good tips for clicker training, and how to help my quaker adjust to her new brother or sister!!
