First time Grey owner..

I rescued a grey 2 days ago that was pulled from what could only be described as a bird mill situation. I have always wanted a Grey from the time I was a little girl and now one landed in my lap! I look forward to learning all I can about him/her and what would be best for him/her. I am still deciding on a name. I think he is a feather picker though...either that or he looks like that from poor care. I am glad I stumbled upon this site!

Give him a shower and perhaps even spray him with some preening oil and he may be able to restore his feathers to be a bit less scraggly condition. Just wait till the next molt and he should be good as new, unless he really is a picker.
