Yes, I can't believe how much this bird talks already! I'm not sure why. But he won't EVER dance. It's simply not interested in music. Just gives the sideways look, then ignores it. We tried dancing in front of our bird...nothing. Bobbing our own heads...bird gets really freaked out or once...opened its mouth for food! We think anyway. Lol We also tried lightly bouncing the bird on our finger...nothing. The bird hears music and just looks awkward. Lol

But I will have to get video of our bird talking this weekend if I can. My husband worked late and so it was just the bird and I. I had to turn my back to do the dishes and the bird squawked at me. I said, "Hello bird!" and kept doing what I was doing. "Bird bird!" It said back. But when I turned off the water and went in there...nothing. lol Wish it would talk more on command, but that will come. :)

So how long does puberty last? I've seen a few weeks to a few months.

Awww! That has to be one of the cutest bird pics I've seen. :swaying:
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Well, we just found out that we have a baby girl! :) Trying to find a fitting name now. We had a few picked out, so tonight we should have one. I just need to retrain my head into thinking the bird is actually female. I swore it was male! I would have lost that bet! LOL
