Hi there.I have a pair of senegal parrots which i bought october 2012 as a bonded pair.these are outside avairy birds.They have settled into their new home that well that they are currently sat on two eggs .There was three but the hen must of broken one as she panicd to get out of her nest box.I am planning on hand rearing and have spent a long time googling and youtubeing until my eyes have gone square.I think i am all but set ready to go now.this sunday will be 28 days after the first egg was laid..(fingers crossed).I dont know who's worse tom or me expecting the babies.Anyway thats my short intro .Hi everybody.

Hi welcome I am a new member myself. A question for you are you from Devon England, if so i am from just down the road from you in Falmouth Cornwall. We now live in Calgary but we were home last month, and brrr it was colder than Canada

Cool how's the weather at home...it was bloody freezing last month when I was there. I left my sweaters in Canada thinking it would be spring.....but ended up buying some in Falmouth.Good luck with your birds!!!

Its warmed up a bit now ,but the typical south west wet weather has arrived.

Gutted the eggs didn't hatch.I opened the eggs and there were dead in the shell chicks.Sad times horrible to see.
