Hey everyone!

I'm an almost-33yo woman (birthday on Sunday) that's interested in doing some research about cockatiels. My family had three when I was a child, but that was a long time ago...so I'd like to see what it would entail to properly house, feed, and care for one nowadays. (We all know what crazy ridiculous things people thought were proper for animals 20+ years ago, haha!)

So, I'll be browsing around for information and maybe posting a few things to be sure if we could give them what they need and if they would be able to happily be a part of our family!

Since joining, I have learned a lot and also been able to share many of my experiences with my birds to the many members of this forum. This is the place to be to get your future setup ideas ready. Just be mindful that birds require quite a large amount of time and commitment. Lots of folks here have tiels, including myself. They are quite the characters!
