Hi all
Fab forum you have here! I'm sure I will learn a great many things from your discussions.
We have 2 birds - Lori, our

that we've had for around 2 years. And our brand new addition Precious, a young

I found at a park 2 weeks ago, one wing clipped and terrified. No luck finding his owner. I call Precious a he but I really have no idea what sex he is, and have no plans to dna test.
I like birds in general (who doesn't) but certainly had no plan to own one, until my arm was reluctantly twisted when my partner begged me to let him have Lori. Lori

was also originally an escaped bird, found by a friend of a friend and moved from house to house until finding a permanent home with us. I hated that bird in that first week. He drew my blood 3 times that week and I would yell at my partner to "TAKE THAT DEMON BIRD BACK!". And then suddenly he became mine, and I his. And now, I am a craaazy bird lady!
Fortunately Precious

warmed to us very quickly. Only a day or 2 before he stopped lunging and we were both able to get him to come to us and go for a tour of the house. We've had him out every day since. I had a solid few hours of stimulating play with him about a week ago and we broke through a lot of boundaries and trust issues. He's a different bird now, vocal and very playful, yet.... precious, sweet. He's the most darling little thing. I welcome any advice in regards to

and even

as I'm still a relatively new to being a bird owner/lover.
Q. Is it possible for

and

to get along? They have seperate cages but it would be nice if they could be let out at the same time, and maybe even play together. They don't seem too keen each other at the moment. We've had them out together twice but

seems to want to go for

. A couple of days ago I heard them having a "squalk off" (going through every word, whistle, screech, noise in their repertoires) and I thought "sweet! They're getting to know one another", but when I went to check they were both staring at each other intensley from their cages and shaking with ??? Anger?? I don't know. From my human perspective it looked hostile. Anyway, getting back on track... I would much appreciate any hints/tips/advice about these particular breeds or bird owning in general from people with experience. I am open to learning all I can in order to be the best possible crazy bird mama I can be
Cheers
