Hi everyone. Been looking for a good parrot community for some time. I've seen many of Michael's videos on youtube and I liked what I saw.
I just recently adopted my Umbrella a couple days ago. She's 18 and a sweetheart, but I'm itching to start training with her. The problem is I have no treats to reward her with as the ONLY EATS PELLETS!!!!
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Hey! What part of Florida? I'm in SWFL, Naples to be exact. Good for you on adopting, that is amazing on your part! I have no experience in a pellets-only bird but just wanted to say hello from Florida too 
I can only imagine that continuing to offer other types of food will eventually make the bird try it, but I don't know? My Senegal would do ANYTHING for a walnut and that's what we train with.
