well it was going well but Riki just tried to slit my wrist with no eye penning tail fanning or hissing..it was out of the blue and he almost got the main vein in my wrist, my husband is not gonna be happy if he sees it :(

But Buzz is doing great i can get her to step up come out of her cage and step up to put her back. She really wants to ride on my shoulder but i dont like anything with a sharp beak that close to my face.

I am thinking i need to get some leather wrist guards for under my long sleeve shirt if i want to work with him more. I just not sure about him.

On further thought i think when he attacked my sleeve it was the sleeve that scared him and he wasn't after me....well thats what im hopeing cause i havnt worn that shirt with him before i usally always wear it with Buzz cause she steps up on my arm and kinda runs up and down it so i wear the long sleeves to help against the claws. I think the lose part startled Riki when i was petting him and he attacked the loose part of the sleeve and got me.

For what you said about the food, when I got Peanut, she ate only seeds. What I did was put a few pellets in her food, then a little more, and so on until it was all pellets. Eventually they will start eating.

Good luck with those two! :)
