Hello to everyone

I'm new here and having alot of probs at the moment with the cag I recently purchased. I'm getting quite upset because he wont eat. Iv'e tried the best parrot food and pellets, fresh fruit and dried fruit but he wont touch any of it> The only thing I can manage to get down him are a few monkey nuts and the odd grape or piece of apple. I took him to the vets this morning and she gave me some vitamin drops for his water she also said his weight was ok. I have kept him out of the cage except at night and he has bonded well with me he is talking and seems to have setteled down well. I bought him over the internet and probably should have known better, but his previous owner delivered him. He looked healthy enough and the cage and his toys where all in prestige condition. Iv'e tried contacting the previous owner but he doesn@t seem concerned at all he just says it will take him time to settle although i have my doubts. He is supposed to be 6yrs old. Please can anyone help.

Congratulations on your CAG and welcome to the forum. The first question has to be how long have you had him? And what was he eating in his previous home?
