Cori has been in my home now for 2 weeks.. I LOVE that when Im not in the room, Basil starts talking to Cori in english and Cori replies in english... this blows my mind on so many levels.. I can not believe how smart birds really are.. instead of using tweets and whistles, they decided english was better to talk to each other in.. Im just blown away by this. I have never owned a large parrot before and having a medium and large together is soo much fun.. they already love each other, although my sennie sometimes tries to jump on Cori's(my mealy) back. It cracks me up but scares Cori to death! Bath time has been a real pleasure too... I have this mister that you can change the nozzle from mist to stream and everything in between.. its a cool parrot gadget... Bird Mister Jr its called. I recommend it to bird owners.. it keeps pressurized so there is a steady stream of water coming out. its really cool.. but enough about misters, I came on here to talk about my birds.. I find it funny that Cori spreads her wings while taking a bath and Basil likes to just stand there and enjoy the water. They both are so different in what they like and dont like. Its really neat watching Cori open up and have her true personality come out.
