I'm a 20 year old female from the UK, and I currently own a parrotlet hen (dilute blue? I get confused by all the different names for the colours) named Tuesday, who is currently a year old. She's not hand tame, unfortunately, though she'll take food from my hand. Just wont consider stepping up at all. She's a work in progress, though, and we're slowly making headway. She's quite happy, though, and she likes to sit and chat to me, she has so many quirks that I adore, and I think she's just a very shy bird that will take a while. She's quite happy to take millet seeds from my fingers, though, she just doesn't like touching me.
I'd someday LOVE to be able to own a Sun or Jenday Conure. They're gorgeous birds. I just need my own place and enough space for them.
