Home Alone??

Postby bethie636 » Wed Jul 17, 2013 1:56 pm

I have a 4 month old Green Cheek named Tiki.... I have had him about a month, I usually take him to work 3 days a week and on other days daddy is home so he never has spent more then 10 hours home alone. We are camping this weekend and going floating, I am thinking of taking him with me and leaving him in the RV while we are floating. I am concerned with the AC unit, if it should fail while we are gone it good get 120 deg. in there. I thought of leaving him home from Fri eve through Sun am...... I don't know if that is a good Idea to leave him home that long and with the 3 cats... They can't really get to him, :swaying: he has a huge cage with plenty of room to roam.
Any advise would be appreciated.

as long as he has toys to keep him busy and fresh water he'll be fine.

I don't recommend taking birds camping, it's too risky.
