Hello from Illinois!

Hello! I am currently in the process of getting a Red-Lored Amazon parrot in the next 2 weeks or so, I am getting him from a breeder and he is almost done weaning. I've been researching these birds for around 5 months now and feel I am finally ready for a parrot, I can't wait to get him! He actually flew to me when I walked into the breeder's store, and right there I knew the bird chose me, So I now have a deposit on him!

Keep up the good work with the research and if you have any questions do ask. You will never stop learning, no matter how much you know about parrots theres always more to know. When will you be bringing your amazon home?
