My name's Jim, the proud owner of Bishop, a Senegal parrot. He's named after the android in the 1980s movie "Aliens". I live in NY. Nice to meet fellow parrot lovers.
Bishop is my first bird and is 6 months old. My sister has two military macaws and I had always wanted a parrot too, but the hours I worked wouldn't have been fair to the bird. Since I am now able to work from home I will have time to do it right. Through a chance encounter I am actually working on getting a second bird, a female cinnamon GCC. More on this later.
