Who we are...

Postby Fairmark » Sat Sep 14, 2013 9:39 am

Hello. My name is Mark and I have a blue quaker living with me, my daughter Emma who is 11 and wife Lizbeth who is..... Razzle is five. We also have a medium sulpher crested cockatoo who we are fostering through the rescue organization that Emma and I belong to. Charlie is three and came to us not too long ago. He is wonderful and a loving bird. Like other toos, he is a real chainsaw! I have read many posts on here and enjoy the education I am getting. I have been involved with socializing parrots since the late 70s/early 80s. Took a break in the 90s and earlier 21st century, but joined the organization we volunteer with after considering several in the area we live in which is Northeastern Ohio. Good luck to all of you in here and God bless you for your interest in doing the right thing by our winged friends.

Welcome to the forum!
It's great that Emma is involved with parrots at such a young age! It will be experiences she'll never forget :P
I'd love to hear more about you and your Quaker.
