hi guys! im new and need tips

hi guys!
I just had a pair of cockatiels for 2 weeks now (Mickey and Minnie). So far my birds are doing fine especially Minnie. She is not afraid of me when I open the cage and i can feed her with my hands. i started teaching her to my hands and she do it easily.

My concern is my male cockatiel Mickey its because when i open the cage and put my hand close to him he fly away. i need help how to stop him from flying away every time i put my hand close to him. every time i hand fed Minnie, my boy Mickey just stays in the corner of the cage and just stare at Minnie while eating with in my hand. What should i do to get Mickey to trust me and not be afraid to eat in my hand?

Please help!

Welcome to the forum. More time and patience will help. 2 weeks isn't that long to settle in and especially not that long to learn to trust in someone There is lots you can do like sitting sat a distance the 'tiels are comfortable with, talking or reading to them quietly and not staring to start the bonding and gaining trust process. It will also help that one of them has already developed enough trust to allow you to feed her.
