My name is Mg and am getting my first 11 year old African Parrot. Her name is sweetie and I'm wondering when a bird is classified as old. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forums. Do you mean an African Grey or another species? All parrots are different and without knowing the exact species its hard to say how old is old. Most parrots live years and years though so I would guess that yours is middle aged at the oldest.
